Williamsburg

Located in Coastal Virginia between the James and York rivers - Jamestown, Yorktown, and Williamsburg together are named the Historic Triangle for their historical significance and close proximity. I had been to Colonial Williamsburg a number of years ago, attending a technical conference while staying in one of the historic homes in town. I really loved the experience and wanted to return for a vacation. I traded my timeshare for the Marriott at ford's colony in Williamsburg Virginia. Kimberly and Susie joined us for the weeks stay. We got a Historic Triangle ticket and spent the week exploring Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown.

The first day we went to Colonial Williamsburg where we toured the Governor's Palace as well as watched the making of chocolate.

The next day we returned and took a tour of the courthouse, visited the gardens, the tin shop, and the printer. Dinner was at Christiana Campbell's Tavern.

Following day was the fort at Jamestown and dinner at Berret's Seafood Restaurant and Taphouse Grill.

Off to Yorktown, lunch at the Waterstreet Grill, visited the Museum and the War Memorial.

Back to Co;onial Williamsburg for an enactment at the courthouse, visit to the blacksmiths shop and a wonderful talk by Lafayette. Return dinner at Berret's Seafood Restaurant and Taphouse Grill.

The last day we returned to Yorktown and the Waterstreet Grille.
