Other than the Night Of A 1000 Gowns nobody has ever done a stand alone formal dinner event for crossdressers. Micki (from CHIC) and Paulette (from DIVA Las Vegas) got to talking about how much fun it would be to get an intimate group of people together and put on a formal dinner for us crossdressers. That is how La Bella was conceived.
It was an incredible night with 32 lovely ladies from six states attending all decked out in floor length formal gowns. A special bonus was having 1/3 of those attending wives or significant others. L ‘Opera Italian Restaurant in downtown Long Beach was chosen for the event. The La Scala room downstairs was our home for the night with our own private bar.
A special touch by Micki was to give each of the wives a golden rose.
Every one had champagne in hand as they were entertained by Elle Choate playing her beautiful harp.
