The Cabrillo Playhouse in the heart of beautiful San Clemente.
This pint-sized community theater features plays, variety shows, concerts & more in a cozy space.
We have season tickets for the 2023-2024 season.
The first play in 2024 was A comedy of tenors.
It's 1930s Paris and the stage is set for the concert of the century – as long as producer Henry Saunders can keep Italian superstar
Tito Merelli and his hot-blooded wife, Maira, from causing runaway chaos.
Prepare for an uproarious ride, full of mistaken identities, bedroom hijinks, and madcap delight.
After the play we went to Denny's for cream filled crapes.
Cabrillo Playhouse presents The 39 Steps adapted by Patrick Barlow from the novel by John Buchan. Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have The 39 Steps, a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre. This two-time Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning treat is packed with nonstop laughs, over 150 zany characters (played by a ridiculously talented cast of four), an onstage plane crash, handcuffs, missing fingers, and some good old-fashioned romance.
