Caribbean Cruise

We love to go on cruises, so when Kimberly and Susie suggested a Caribban Cruise we were all in. Since the cruise left out of Miami, we visited some friends on the west side of Florida and drove to Miami to join the ship. Another couple joined us as well. The ship was the Norwegian Sky, an older ship, so the cabins were the size of a band box.

We were still im Miami for the first dinner.

Dinner after a beautiful day spent at Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas.

The first of the two formal nights.

Day 4 was San Juan, Puerto Rico. We visited Castillo San Felipe del Morro & San Cristobal.

Dinner that evening.

Day 5 was Philipsburg, St. Maarten. We rented a car and drove around the island. We stopped at a seafood restaurant near the airport and picked out out live Lobsters. Kimberly's was 6 pounds!

There were only 4 of us at dinner that evening.

Day 6 was St. John's, Antigua. We went to Nelson's Dockyard, Betty's Hope Sugar Plantation, Shirley Heights and Devil's Bridge.

Day 7 was Tortola BVI. We didn't do much during thr day. but we really enjoyed the piano bar that evening.

Day 8 was Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. We visited the Macorix House of Rum, The Amber Museum and Fort San Felipe.

Day 9 was at sea and our second formal night. Sadly the last night. We had a great time and can't wait for our next cruise together.
