Kauai

Susan and Wanda went to Hawaii and spent a week at a condo in Princeville, Kauai. First night out we went to Duke's and had Kimo's Original Hula Pie.

It was supposed to rain on Tuesday so we decided to stay local and went to Tahiti Nui in Hanalei. It started to rain the moment we got to the restaurant. You probably can't see it, but it is pouring out the window to my right. The food was outstanding, the best we had for the week.

We saw a five star review for De Fazenda, a food truck. We just had to try it out. It was good, but probably not 5 star. We also went to the Music and Art Festival that was within walking distance from the condo.

We had lunch at another local restaurant in Hanalei. Good, but not anyway as good as Tahiti Nui.

Of course, no trip to Hawaii is complete without a Luau. Both the food and entertainment were outstanding.

We had lunch at the Grand Hyatt, home of the famous Tidepools Restaurant. Then we went to Tommy Bahamas to buy a jacket.
