Cabrillo Playhouse

The Cabrillo Playhouse in the heart of beautiful San Clemente. This pint-sized community theater features plays, variety shows, concerts & more in a cozy space.

We went to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show last year and sat in the first row. It was great!

We bought season tickets for the 2022-2023 season. Front row center! The first play was Little Women. A Musical based on the Luisa May Alcott novel.

Act 1 is from Victor’s point of view. He begins by telling of his childhood. Born into a wealthy Genevan family, Victor has a strong desire to understand the world. Act 2, the Creature, Intelligent and articulate, relates his first days of life, living alone in the wilderness. The creature, speaking to Frankenstein, the monster says “I ought to be thy Adam, but I am rather the fallen angel”.
