Return to Sydney

I had the opportunity to return to Sydney for the weekend. I was really looking forward to seeing old friends. It started out on Friday night with a makeover at Rocky's.

Louise Bond (no relation to James) joined us at Rocky's. She is a really fun girl and she planned to show me around a bit. The plan was to start with dinner, but a long stay at Rocky's and a wrong turn on the way to the restaurant made it a bit late.

So we decided to go to the Seahorse Society meeting first. There I had a chance to see some old friends. Doesn't Jill have the most beautiful gowns? Lynn and company brought in a pile of Pizza - My first thought was, "How are we going to eat all that Pizza?" I needn't have worried as the group devoured it in about 15 minutes. So much for the girlish figure (or having dinner).

After the meeting a few of us went over to the Taxi Club

On Saturday night we decided to start with Dinner. Louise suggested a great African restaurant in Newtown. After dinner we stopped at a few Bars and took in a local drag show. We also got an invite to a 40th birthday Wild West costume party.

After the Drag show, we headed over to the Taxi club and had some Coffee in the next door Coffee shop.

Then it was over to Flinders for another drag show (one of the same girls from the earlier show). Back to the Taxi club for a nightcap after the show.

Finally, I couldn't resist having my picture taken with Mrs. Santa Claus.

All in all, I had a fabulous weekend. Thanks, Louise.
