Segerstrom Center for the Arts

We got season tickets for the Pacific Symphony at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. The first concert was Rach 3 and Bolero. An opening night celebration that immerses you in the virtuosity of the solo musician, both on the piano and in the orchestra. The brilliant Olga Kern returns to Orange County with the “Mount Everest” of piano concertos, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3. And be amazed by the artistry of solo Pacific Symphony musicians as they sweep you away with music from Mozart and Ravel.

The pianist!

The next show at the center we went to was to see Ina Garten, the country's most beloved culinary icon. We had hoped to learn a bit about cooking. Unfortunately she only seemed to be there to tell us a bit about her life and sell some more books. We were disappointed.

The look down!

We went to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year as teenage superstar Jackie Evancho performed some of the most memorable classics of the season, including hits from her holiday album “Someday at Christmas,” and more. She was fabulous!
