Puzzle Party

It all started with the May Art Walk when we bought a Dr. Seuss puzzle at the art gallery. The puzzle was of a picture that Dr. Seuss had in his house and is now in the art gallery. He signed is Stroogo Von M. The story was that when people visited his house they would see the picture and claim that they also had some art from Stroogo Von M, which was of course a lie. The puzzle was a wooden puzzle from Liberty Puzzles.

The Puzzle was diabolical. Some of the pieces were cut like Dr. Suess figures, There were no corners and the edge pieces didn't directly interlock so you couldn't make a border. Since the puzzle was almost all green with sparkling lights everywhere, a given piece could go almost anywhere. To help assemble the puzzle, I printed out a full size picture of the puzzle (in pieces) and built the puzzle on top of the picture. After working on it for a while Susan and Wanda thought it would be fun to have a puzzle party to help it along.
