We went to see the Opera by Mozart "Abduction from the Seraglio" at the Ford Theater in Hollywood. The plot concerns the attempt of the hero Belmonte, assisted by his servant Pedrillo, to rescue his beloved Konstanze from the seraglio of Pasha Selim. The unique thing was that the Opera was in English and set in the Star Trek Universe. Of course Kirk was Belmonte and Spock was Pedrillo.
