Hard on Cameras

A well know joke goes - Question: What is a cross dressers best friend? Answer: A digital camera.

You can see how much I love my digital camera, but it doesn't come cheap. I started out with a real clunker that used 3.5 inch floppy disks (you remember them) for storage. My kind wife then bought me a $700.00 Sony camera. Great!! Had it for a while and when I was roller-skating at Midnight Rollerway, I bumped the camera and broke it. Since it was during a week that I was going out I had (yes, just had) to have a camera so I went out the next day and bought a cheap Olympus. That worked fine until we were on our Hawaii Cruise and somehow I busted the LCD display. The rest of the camera worked OK but since it didn't have a vu-finder it was pretty useless. Since we were on a Cruise, just had to have a camera, so the next day during a stopover in one of the ports, we went to Costco and bought another Sony. That worked fine until this week when I was going to Shine and Cobra. Got some great pictures at Shine and the next night at Cobra, the camera was stolen while I was playing pool. I was actually more bummed about losing the pictures than the camera. Since I was going to Miss Kitty's the following night, I just HAD to have another camera; so back to Best Buy for another Sony (looks the same as the old one, so maybe my wife won't notice that I did it again). Ugh! Well anyway, some other people took pictures and David was kind enough to send me this picture (Wanda, Ginger and David) and Jara the others.

Since I just had to have pictures of my outfits at Shine and Cobra, I put them back on and took pictures with my NEW Sony.

What the heck... Since I was dressing for the camera, why not put on one of my wedding dresses.
