By now, many of you have heard the story of Mike Penner, a sports writer for the Los Angeles Times who
recently transitioned on the job to become Christine. Her tremendous courage was recognized by the Rev. Neil Thomas at the Sunday Service at MCCLA along with the other transgender girls in attendance.
